Sid and I worked together for several years as police officers for the Desloge Missouri Police Department. I always enjoyed Sid's since of humor and how he could put a comical spin on any situation. To this day I tell strories of working with Sid and some of the antics we both had our hands in.
You could always count on Sid to liven the shift up in various ways including lighting and throwing bottle rockets inside the police station just to scare the tar out of me.
I always enjoyed riding in the patrol car together and Sid telling stories of his adventures in Viet Nam. The stories ranged from tragic events to hillarious stunts that he and others servicemen did while serving over seas.
Sid you were always a good friend and I will truly miss you. You live in my heart and life with the stories and good times you left me with.
